Frontend Developer (2+ years)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging responsive web and mobile applications for the company. Using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, this candidate will be able to translate user and business needs into functional frontend design.

The Role

• front end software engineer to work on visualization and reporting of AI-driven biomedical information for presentation to clinicians and patients, in a rapidly growing precision medicine company
• significant career growth opportunities into senior full-stack developer dependent on interests and company growth, to include UI/UX, web app and API development, data engineering (ETL), database management, DevOps

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for design and implementation of visual reporting engine for the production of intuitive and elegant patient reports in a variety of static and interactive formats
• Iterate rapidly based on user feedback and experiment with different ideas and solutions, whilst maintaining engineering quality.
• Collaborate with a small cross-functional team of computational biologists, AI/machine learning data scientists, oncology domain experts, and business developers

We are looking for someone with

• 2+ years (junior) or 5+ (med/senior) years of experience in front end development with a strong visual reporting element, ideally in a data science/biomedical/AI context
• Comfortable working with complex datasets generated by computational biology and machine learning pipelines
• Experience of fast iterative environments, and version control.
• Strong attention to detail
• Pragmatic, flexible team player
• Knowledge of automated and manual testing approaches
• Strong communication skills
